I Have found This to be the Best Dry Shampoo on the Market

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 | Permalink

I have been using Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo for a number of years and for me it is the best dry shampoo on the market.  It takes me nearly two hours to wash, condition and blow dry my hair, which means that if it were not for Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo I would have had to get up 2 hours earlier every day.  Even though this product is expensive, two hours extra sleep, 4 out of the 5 mornings I have to get up and go to work, means a much much happier me.

I have very oily, fine, blond hair.  On a Monday morning, I get up early and spend the two hours to wash, condition and blow dry my hair.  For the remaining four mornings, I use quite a bit of the dry shampoo to blot out the oiliness.  This means that I use a can of Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo per month, which is fairly expensive.  I’ll gladly foot this bill as it means that I get an extra two hours sleep every day.  It’s amazing, my hair looks pretty good and no one at the office knows my secret.

Most women these days are really conscious about the way that they look. This is understandable, as vanity is really common among women of all ages. As a matter of fact, those women who are way past their puberty are the ones who got even more conscious about their looks — and their weight. Actually, a lot of them are trying to find ways on how to look and feel younger.

One of the most important things that women must consider is the kind of diet that they follow. After all, the foods that they take may have a direct or indirect effect on the way that they look. Besides, outer beauty is just reflected by how we really look inside. Thus, we have to be certain that we nourish ourselves well. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables, which are definitely full of nutrition, is recommended.

This also goes the same when it comes to losing weight. Thus, we have to find the best nutrition that is right for us. In fact, there are some fruit juice recipes for weight loss that are really effective. In order to look and stay young, we have to start nourishing ourselves from within — and everything will be reflected outside.

Modern-age diseases have more complicated symptoms, and most of them, such as cancers and psychological issues, are really difficult to treat. These are mostly caused by stress and other pressures that we so often encounter in our daily lives. Obviously, the modern medical science these days are trying to find ways to give a cure to such diseases.

However, some spiritual traditions would recommend various practices and principles that can greatly bring peace and balance to the mind and to life in general, and this will surely bring good health to the body. Along with the right diet, such as the most popular alkaline diet which is mostly comprised of fresh fruits and vegetables, a regular “moment of silence” just to bring back the peace and serenity to our mind and entire well-being is most recommended.

As a matter of fact, even modern doctors these days admit that the mind can control the body’s performance. After all, the mind can be an important cause of some illnesses that the body may experience — and with this, it is definitely correct that the mind can also give its body the necessary cure that it needs. This is the reason why people shall take some time to sit in silence and learn how to meditate, as this can develop both the body and the mind, and in general, meditation can surely bring improvements to our entire health and wellness.

Straight Hair Is Possible!

I have naturally wavy hair, but I decided to change that by using the Farouk CHI Ceramic Flat Iron. This is the best flatiron I’ve ever used. In the past it has taken me as much as two hours to straighten my hair, but this 1 inch flat hairstyling iron only takes me 20 min. to use. It also makes my hair feels silky smooth.

There are lots of others flatirons on the market at much cheaper prices, but this one is worth the extra expense. I’ve never had one work so well.

Another thing I have noticed is that even in humid weather, my hair seems to stay straight longer without frizzing up. It’s really wonderful to find a product that does what it says it’s going to, instead of dealing with all the hype, only to be disappointed. The Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron has really made a believer out of me.

If you’re in the market for a new flatiron, then you should take a look at the Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron – it doesn’t have more than 1,100 five star reviews on amazon.com for nothing!

Pushing the Boundaries to Lose Weight Faster

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 | Permalink

While many experts tend to agree that it is quite normal to lose weight at a moderate rate between one and two pounds per week, that doesn’t mean that it is wrong to try and lose some of that weight a little faster. As long as you stick to natural methods and don’t try any dangerous stunts like starving yourself or trying to run a half marathon when you have done zero exercise for the last three years, there are ways and means to speed up at least the initial amount of weight that can be lost.

One of the best ways of achieving fast measurable weight loss results is to be fairly strict with your diet while combining it with an exercise program. At the same time, you can enhance these basic strategies by making sure you drink at least two pints of plain water every day and also include a cup or two of green tea in place of coffee or black tea.

Make sure your diet is free from all processed foods, sugar laden or high calorie snacks and you stay away as much as possible from bread and other refined flour based products. This way, you will naturally reduce your calorie intake. You also help your body by reducing refined sugars, which you can replace with fruit sugars if you wish as it’s a lot healthier to eat fresh fruit than candy bars as a snack!

Keep active and work to increase the amount of exercise you do each day. Push the boundaries of what you can do while still keeping within the limits of what is healthy and you will lose weight faster while improving your health along the way.

BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer

Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 | Permalink

Three weeks ago my old hair dryer bit the dust, and I have decided to upgrade to the BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer. In the past when I needed to replace a hair dryer. I’ve always just run out to stores like Target and bought whatever was cheapest. I just thought they were all the same. It turns out that I was wrong. Oh, so very wrong because this BaBylyss hair dryer is very different.

The BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer has a professional long life motor and six speed and heat setting combinations. In addition, to make it easier to clean, it has a removable filter. Unlike the usual hairdryers, which use a metal coil to produce their heat, this one uses ceramics. They claim that this dries the hair from the inside out and is gentler than the other types of hairdryers. Who knows? All I know is that it works. It has a narrow barrel, which really focuses the airflow and a micro concentrator nozzle. The BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer is the best hair dryer I’ve ever used.

Perfect Image Hair Loss Regrowth Shampoo

Tuesday, December 27th, 2011 | Permalink

Up until a couple of years ago, I didn’t think I would ever have to worry about hair loss shampoo products. And then the familial curse stepped in and began happening to me. At first I noticed that there was more hair the bottom of the shower that I’ve seen before, and then I started to notice the thinning hair of my frontal hairline. I had seen commercials for hair regrowing products, but until I noticed my hair coming out, I just never paid much attention to them.

Now, however, I think I found the solution to my problem. About three months ago, I began to use Perfect Image Hair Loss/Regrowth Shampoo which contains ketoconazole DHT inhibitor, saw palmetto, emu oil, biotin & Scalp exfoliating agent salicylic acid for greater minoxidil penetration. I have to say that with the use of this shampoo together with Perfect Image Minoxidil 10% I’m starting to see some hair regrowth.

Everyone knows that minoxidil can regrow hair in many people suffering from male pattern baldness, but if it can’t get down into the hair follicles using it will do you no good. What this shampoo does is exfoliate or remove dead skin so that when you apply minoxidil, you’ll achieve maximum effectiveness.

I can already tell that this hair loss/regrowth shampoo is going to make a huge difference in my campaign to reclaim my hairline.

The Importance of Setting Realistic Goals for Losing Weight

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 | Permalink

When you are trying to lose weight and are finding it tough going, one of the reasons for this could be that you have set yourself too high a goal and are having trouble achieving it. This is actually quite a common mistake made by many people who believe that if you set a really high goal then you will work harder to attain it.

In fact, the opposite tends to be true as although you may work harder in the initial stages, because the goal is so out of reach, it is common to give up before getting anywhere close to it. This can leave you feeling dejected and utterly lacking in the will to want to continue, so it has a negative effect. For this reason, it is far better to set yourself realistic weight loss goals so that you have a far easier time in achieving them. The way to do this is simplicity itself.

You start with an easy to reach target of just a few pounds of weight lost inside of a moderate time frame, for instance two to three weeks. This is relatively easy to achieve and you will find that once you have achieved this target, then you are much more highly motivated to go for the next goal, which should be of a similar level of attainability. Losing weight becomes much more enjoyable when you do it this way and you stay with your plan much more readily, leading to a far better and more sustainable success.
