BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer

Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 | Permalink

Three weeks ago my old hair dryer bit the dust, and I have decided to upgrade to the BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer. In the past when I needed to replace a hair dryer. I’ve always just run out to stores like Target and bought whatever was cheapest. I just thought they were all the same. It turns out that I was wrong. Oh, so very wrong because this BaBylyss hair dryer is very different.

The BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer has a professional long life motor and six speed and heat setting combinations. In addition, to make it easier to clean, it has a removable filter. Unlike the usual hairdryers, which use a metal coil to produce their heat, this one uses ceramics. They claim that this dries the hair from the inside out and is gentler than the other types of hairdryers. Who knows? All I know is that it works. It has a narrow barrel, which really focuses the airflow and a micro concentrator nozzle. The BaByliss Pro BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer is the best hair dryer I’ve ever used.

Perfect Image Hair Loss Regrowth Shampoo

Tuesday, December 27th, 2011 | Permalink

Up until a couple of years ago, I didn’t think I would ever have to worry about hair loss shampoo products. And then the familial curse stepped in and began happening to me. At first I noticed that there was more hair the bottom of the shower that I’ve seen before, and then I started to notice the thinning hair of my frontal hairline. I had seen commercials for hair regrowing products, but until I noticed my hair coming out, I just never paid much attention to them.

Now, however, I think I found the solution to my problem. About three months ago, I began to use Perfect Image Hair Loss/Regrowth Shampoo which contains ketoconazole DHT inhibitor, saw palmetto, emu oil, biotin & Scalp exfoliating agent salicylic acid for greater minoxidil penetration. I have to say that with the use of this shampoo together with Perfect Image Minoxidil 10% I’m starting to see some hair regrowth.

Everyone knows that minoxidil can regrow hair in many people suffering from male pattern baldness, but if it can’t get down into the hair follicles using it will do you no good. What this shampoo does is exfoliate or remove dead skin so that when you apply minoxidil, you’ll achieve maximum effectiveness.

I can already tell that this hair loss/regrowth shampoo is going to make a huge difference in my campaign to reclaim my hairline.

The Importance of Setting Realistic Goals for Losing Weight

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 | Permalink

When you are trying to lose weight and are finding it tough going, one of the reasons for this could be that you have set yourself too high a goal and are having trouble achieving it. This is actually quite a common mistake made by many people who believe that if you set a really high goal then you will work harder to attain it.

In fact, the opposite tends to be true as although you may work harder in the initial stages, because the goal is so out of reach, it is common to give up before getting anywhere close to it. This can leave you feeling dejected and utterly lacking in the will to want to continue, so it has a negative effect. For this reason, it is far better to set yourself realistic weight loss goals so that you have a far easier time in achieving them. The way to do this is simplicity itself.

You start with an easy to reach target of just a few pounds of weight lost inside of a moderate time frame, for instance two to three weeks. This is relatively easy to achieve and you will find that once you have achieved this target, then you are much more highly motivated to go for the next goal, which should be of a similar level of attainability. Losing weight becomes much more enjoyable when you do it this way and you stay with your plan much more readily, leading to a far better and more sustainable success.

The Gift of Health this Christmas

As we move closer to December the 25th, thoughts begin to turn to buying gifts for our loved ones. What are you going to buy this year? Often many of us become unsure about what people will want. Of course, we hope to get something that they will like. Should we buy something practical? This is what I try to do. A gift that can be used, either a book that can be read, an item of clothing or an item is what I usually aim to give. That way, they’ll be able to get a reasonable amount of use out of it.

This year, I have focussed a lot on my own health. Therefore this is something that I’d like to share with my family. The plan is to introduce them to healthy eating, in a fun and tasty way. So I’m considering buying a joint present of an Omega VRT350HD juicer. I’ve used this style of machine before and it is really high quality and quite easy to use. The best news is that the fruit and vegetable drinks it makes taste fantastic.

Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment

If you’re anything like me, this Moroccan oil hair treatment is the answer to damaged hair. I like to change my hair color frequently. The problem is by applying all these guys to my hair, my hair has become quite damaged. Last time I went to get my hair professionally styled, my hairstylist recommended this Moroccan oil. She said it would stop damage to my hair and make it beautiful once again, and she was right.

It only takes just the tiniest amount. I just place the opening of the bottle against my palm and tip it one time. I rub it in to my towel dried hair and then apply heat with a blow dryer to help it dry more quickly. The Moroccan Oil is instantly absorbed by the hair. The results are just amazing. Even my friends can’t believe how much nicer my hair is now.

At first it seems a little bit pricey, but when you realize how little it takes to make your hair beautiful again, Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment is actually quite reasonable in price.
